1. Strict “No Return, No Refund” Policy
At Atelier Montgallet, we maintain a strict policy regarding product compensation. We absolutely do not offer “Refund-Only” solutions under any circumstances.
To qualify for a refund, store credit, or an exchange, the original item must be physically returned to our warehouse and pass our quality inspection. We will not issue any refunds or replacements based solely on photographs, videos, or email descriptions without receiving the actual product back. If you cannot or refuse to return the product, no refund will be processed.
2. Return Window and Eligibility
You have 14 calendar days from the date you received your item to notify us of your intent to return it. To be eligible for a return, your item must meet the following criteria:
- The item must be unused, unwashed, and in the same condition that you received it.
- The item must be in its original, undamaged packaging.
- All original tags, labels, certificates, and accessories must be attached and intact.
- You must provide the original receipt, invoice, or proof of purchase.
Non-Returnable Items: Sale items, gift cards, personalized or custom-made goods, and intimate or hygienic products cannot be returned or refunded.
3. How to Initiate a Return
To start a return process, you must follow these specific steps:

- Receive Authorization: If your request meets our criteria, we will send you a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) email and the exact shipping instructions.

Note: Returns sent back without prior authorization via email will be rejected and will not be processed.
4. Shipping Costs for Returns
- Customer Remorse / Size Exchanges: If you are returning an item because you changed your mind, ordered the wrong size, or dislike the style, you (the buyer) are responsible for paying all return shipping fees. Shipping costs are entirely non-refundable.
- Defective or Incorrect Items: If we made a mistake or the item arrived damaged, you must still return the physical item to us. However, we will provide a pre-paid shipping label or reimburse your return shipping costs upon validating the defect.
We highly recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We do not guarantee that we will receive your returned item, and we are not liable for packages lost in transit by the carrier.
5. Inspection and Refund Process
Once we receive your returned package at our Paris location, our quality control team will inspect the item. We will send you an email notification to confirm that we have received your package and to inform you whether your refund has been approved or rejected based on its condition.
- If Approved: Your refund will be processed immediately. A credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment (e.g., credit card, PayPal) within 7 to 14 business days, depending on your financial institution’s processing times.
- If Rejected: If the item is found to be used, damaged by the customer, or missing its original packaging, the refund will be denied. We can ship the product back to you at your own expense.
6. Late or Missing Refunds
If you have received an approval confirmation email from us but have not seen the money in your account yet, please perform the following steps before contacting us:
- Check your bank account or credit card statement again.
- Contact your credit card company; it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
- Contact your bank, as processing times can vary significantly between financial institutions.
